Cyberpunk 2077 description
Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed by CD Projekt RED, the same team that has developed The Witcher franchise and which is aiming, now, to release a new game of science fiction sometimes during the 2020 year.
Indeed inspired from the tabletop game of the 1988s, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and will be introducing players into a new world of the future, based on a role-playing system and enhanced with some great technologies, graphics, details and soundtrack, for an ultimate experience.
Cyberpunk 2077 Story
In Cyberpunk 2077, the action is presented in a world of the future, where the setting is an entire new world created from the fantasy and imagination of the most productive and talented designers, in the best illustrated science – fiction styled context. Based on the successful Cyberpunk 2020 published by R. Talsorian Games in 1988, the upcoming game that is going to be published, surprisingly, in 2020, is going to be based on the exact same role playing system that has become so popular ever since it as initially released.
Only inspired from the original story, but not sticking to it entirely, Cyberpunk will take you, as the title already suggests, in a time of the 2077 years, offering a unique perspective upon how Earth will look in the future, and it will immerse you into a world with more intrigues and conflicts than ever. Set in a futuristic Night City, already familiar for the veterans of the Cyberpunk system, the story of Cyberpunk 2077 will have a high level of complexity about which we still don’t know much, as the developers aren’t aiming to make some mystery-destroying spoilers. Yet, it is already well-known that your every decision will have a certain impact and consequence, so the story will be highly dynamic and will offer several options, because it seems that the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 are in no way looking forward to providing simple choices between good or bad, trying to add some of the most surprising choices to make and even more unforeseen effects.
Cyberpunk 2077 Mechanics
As the game is built upon the mechanic style of Cyberpunk 2077, it might seem a little familiar to those who have previously played the title. Yet, the new technologies used, the open world model that has enhanced the game industry in the most recent years and the free exploration of the virtual world along with some new side quests that only enhance the playthrough and are not tightly bound to the main story, although they might influence it, all these elements are going to bring the newest features regarding the mechanics of Cyberpunk.
The classes from which you’ll be able to choose and customize your hero, as well as the complex combat system, have also been inspired and conserved as they were, from the first Cyberpunk 2020. Furthermore, there will be however tons of ways to develop your character, by adding multiple upgrades and modifications in their bodies and equipments, including, for example, implants, as you will have to choose from an incredibly large number of options when it comes to improving your equipment and your adventure, illustrating, in comparison to the 1988 release, how many technological progresses have been made since then.
Cyberpunk 2077 Modes
Just like the publication from 1988, when TBA has released the science-fiction role playing game, Cyberpunk will also offer a single player mode to be enjoyed by both fans of the popular tabletop game and by those who wish to explore the futuristic aspects of a virtual world of 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 Technical Issues
Created by the same developers who were involved in the creation of the Wild Hunt series, Cyberpunk 2077 will be using an improved version of the same Red game engine that has offered the best technical performance in the previous releases of CD Projekt RED. Yet, combined with a complex graphic system and the sounds that are going to be used, the performance of the title is going to be discussible once the game will be published in the iconic year of 2020.
