Mortal Kombat 11 description
Soon released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by the careful and dedicated team of NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 11 is the newest release in the series, the eleventh episode of Mortal Kombat, which is expected with the same enthusiasm by its fans – which only means one thing: high quality in everything: visuals, mechanics, characters and battle elements.
Expected to be published on the 23th of April this year, Mortal Kombat 11 is going to bring a few new characters and even more immersive visuals and audio experiences for all the platforms it will be available on: PC, XBox One and Play Station 4.
Mortal Kombat 11 Story
The story of Mortal Kombat 11’s campaign is set immediately after the events from the storyline of the original Mortal Kombat published during the year of 2011. As the developers described it officially, by causing Shinnok’s death, Raiden has previously upset the balance of the history so, the Time Keeper, having enough of Earthrealm’s defiance, decided to bring order back into the universe, being ready to pay any price in order to achieve this peace restored and to use any necessary means to fight those who oppose.
Apart from the short story behind the engaging audiovisual experiences that the Mortal Kombat series has used its fans to, there will be not much of another epic narration, as the video game bases more on the art of combat, on the beautiful details in the battlefield and environmental background, and on the specific abilities, mechanics and graphics of each 3D enhanced character. Furthermore, there will be more characters brought to Mortal Kombat 11, both newer and older, in younger or older versions, including Scorpion, Raiden, Baraka, Skarlet, Sub-Zero and Kronika and Geras – the newcomers of the release.
Mortal Kombat 11 Mechanics
Of course that it is the most interesting part of the video game and it will be offering the most epic duels – the mechanics of Mortal Kombat 11 is also bringing several new elements to the joy of the players. Various new arenas, dynamic clashes, brutal and bloody hits, spectacular fatalities, epic new weapons and clothing, new warriors and character variations allowing further customization of the fighters as well as unexpected new faces are going to crown, altogether, the eleventh apparition from the iconic Mortal Kombat series. Worth noting and probably what will make you most curios will be the unique features of the new characters, Geras and Kronika. We will let the second one a mystery to be discovered while you play, but we will share with you a few secrets about the mechanics used in creating the complex style of Geras. His special powers will be his abilities of controlling time, of summoning objects of sand and stone during battle and of holding enemies in place while punching them with great precision, having his fists covered in rock.
Crushing Bows is the second new and key-element from Mortal Kombat 11, a movement similar to the bone-breaking X-Ray attack, which will be ready to unleash in certain attacking conditions, such as tricking the opponent into certain positions and combos that unleash this superpower or by repeating the same high attack scheme for three times consecutively. For each character, there will be six certain moves eligible for becoming Crushing Bo, which will be definitely discovered by each player during the gameplay and which will cause extra-damage and even a more epic sight of spectacular duels.
Mortal Kombat 11 Modes
Mortal Kombat is playable alone in a single player mode, in order to enjoy the experience all by yourself, or for those who wish to test each character in each area, or even to train until mastering with precise every hero and becoming invincible in any further duel with friends. But for those who just love to have fun with others, Mortal Kombat 11 will offer the multiplayer mode for each platform, including the Internet version that will share screens and allow an authentic experience to immerse the players into their battle.
Mortal Kombat 11 Technical Issues
Always using new graphic engines, the Mortal Kombat series has already proved several times the developers’ competence in technical aspects of the game, always having positive results in all visual settings, audio experiences and game performance. We expect no less from Mortal Kombat 11!
