Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Story
Settings in Assassin Creed III Remastered will present years 1753-1783 in North America, in a key moment when the home village of the protagonist will be attacked. Metis Connor, the hero character, will be the son of British Haytham Kenway and Indian Kaniethi:io and due to the fresh events happened in his home place, he will take the decision of devoting his life to seek justice and fight the tyranny that took down his on village. Taking part in the War of American Independence during the following years, Connor will be witnessing important events in the history of the game’s storyline such as Paul Rever’s night rally, George Washington’s troops in Boston and even the great fire in New York. All these will be the ones making the hero more powerful, resistant and wise.
During the gameplay, however, the storyline will be taking the players in various moments that will allow them, for example, to watch other members of the Brotherhood and Desmond Miles’ fate when finding an ancient temple set in the location of New York. With a modern story, influenced by the playthrough and decisions of the player, the Remastered expansion of Assassin’s Creed is going to be offering a new interesting episode of the series.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Mechanics
Just as in other similar games and as in the base version of Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will have its action presented and seen from a third person perspective. Wild new areas will be included in the open world of the game, such as Borderland, and the realm will also be extended with some really beautifully designed new cities such as Boston and, obviously, New York. With a dynamic changing of the weather and seasons, visiting all these regions in various times and seasons of the year will also have an impact on the gameplay, mechanics being highly developed in this regards. As an example to demonstrate their efficiency, snowdrifts will definitely raise the difficulty of exploring the wildness during winter.
Sea battles will not be missing, with players controlling everything from the board of Aquila, the modifiable ship from this remastered version. But maybe representing good news for those who enjoy exploration and landscaping more than combat in an adventure game, the different mechanics from other games in the series, in this remastered version, will be that, during free navigation, characters will not encounter enemy ships to battle. Those spectacular naval combats will only take place during separate missions, unlike in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, for example, when combat was always waiting, unexpected and ready to start after each inappropriate decision.
Some new mechanics will allow the player to try some new activities in the game, making it more enjoyable to spend time in Connor’s world. For example, apart from side tasks and other fictional events, the protagonist will also have the choice of hunting wild animals in order to take their fur or skin and exchange it for more efficient, upgraded or useful tools, or climbing on buildings, trees and rocks with smooth and silent movements between branches, leaves and stones, for a surprising attack upon enemies or simply for fun. More regarding combat style, enemies will be easily taken down through direct confrontation with weapons such as tomahawk or through a surprise fight, well planned before.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Modes
The single-player mode is maintained in the remastered version, following the path of previous installments of the series.
